Title:  Training and Workforce Participation Advisor

Location:  Torbanlea, QLD, AU, 4662

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • External engagement with government, community, industry, and local stakeholders as part of QTMP’s commitment to local engagement and Local Content outcomes for the Fraser Coast Region
  • Work closely with subcontractors to develop training plans, identify training options, collect, manage, and report training data
  • Support the engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, Traditional Custodians, and businesses
  • Work closely with subcontractors for delivery of our First Nations employment strategy for employment outcomes and procurement spend with Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander business spend, ensuring records are updated and submitted

What we are looking for;

  • Strong stakeholder and subcontractor management experience with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong dispute-management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Employment and Training Sector
  • Ability to liaise with sub-contractors to deliver on our commitment for training and First Nations engagement
  • Data collection and ability to process large amounts of returnable data from trades
  • Confidence in presenting at client meetings and at various events such as Industry Forums, and schools engagement days
  • Experience on similar project or specialist function activities on project or within sector
