Title: Sustainability Advisor
Location: Sydney, NSW, AU, 2193
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing advice to ensure compliance with us & our partner, Client, and Regulatory requirements
- Compiling and reviewing sustainability submissions
- Implementing and maintaining project sustainability objectives
- Collaborating with team members and the wider sustainability and environmental teams for best practise and best outcomes
- Implement the Projects sustainability strategies including the sustainability management plan and monitor and report performance.
- Continually monitor, measure, and evaluate the project practices, Sustainability Management Plan, policies, and processes to meet project targets
- Reviewing and implementing legislative and regulatory changes as required
- Manage the delivery of sustainability rating aspects and compile documentation for eternal rating bodies
- Conduct site visits, audits and inspections as required
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Passion, drive and belief in our Sustainability objectives
- Sound understanding of sustainability principles and application within the construction industry, including Sustainability Rating Schemes such as Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Green Star, NABERS and WELL. ISAP (Infrastructure sustainability Accredited Professional) Accreditation v 1.2 is preferred
- 3+ years’ experience within the Sustainability field, experience in construction industry is desirable but not essential
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- A relevant degree/qualification in the field of sustainability/science/environmental engineering
- The ability to interpret project related documents, prepare reports and monitor compliance documentation
