We are seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales, and ensure the store is well-presented. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments.
• Restock shelves, maintain displays, and ensure the store is clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and receiving deliveries.
• Provide product recommendations and upsell when appropriate.
• Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and store policies.
• Support the team during peak times and promotional events.
• Follow workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not essential.
