Position Title: Training and Workshop Developer/Facilitator Employment

Position Overview:
Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) seeks a passionate and skilled Training and Workshop Developer to design, deliver, and manage culturally responsive training programs and workshops that empower individuals and communities. The role focuses on addressing the needs of multicultural audiences, fostering inclusivity, and supporting clients in building skills, knowledge, and resilience across various domains such as employment, business setup, community engagement, and leadership development.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating impactful programs that bridge gaps, celebrate diversity, and drive positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Program Development:
· Design and deliver training programs that address the unique needs of multicultural individuals and communities.
· Develop culturally tailored materials, resources, and activities to foster inclusivity and practical learning.
· Research and implement best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to enhance program quality.
· Develop training tailored for individuals or organisations starting or enhancing their businesses and cultural awareness.
Workshop Facilitation:
· Plan and lead engaging workshops on topics such as:
o Employment readiness (e.g., resume building, interview skills).
o Business startup and growth strategies.
o Community leadership and advocacy.
o Cultural awareness.
o Cross-cultural communication and teamwork.
· Tailor workshops to meet specific client needs while ensuring a supportive and interactive learning environment.
Community and Client Engagement:
· Work closely with community organisations, businesses, and individuals to identify training needs.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to participants during and after workshops to support their development goals.
· Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to promote programs and expand outreach.
Assessment and Reporting:
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and measurable outcomes.
· Prepare reports and documentation on program delivery, attendance, and success rates.
· Continuously refine training materials based on evaluations and feedback.
Administrative Support:
· Manage program logistics, including scheduling, resource procurement, and participant enrolment.
· Ensure workshops comply with organisational standards and align with strategic goals.
Key Selection Criteria:
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience developing and facilitating training programs, preferably in multicultural or community-based settings.
· Strong understanding of multicultural issues, challenges, and opportunities.
· Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
· Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
· Proficiency in using technology for training delivery, including online platforms and multimedia tools.
Qualifications:
· Community Development, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
· Certification in Training and Development, Instructional Design, or Diversity and Inclusion (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in culturally diverse environments.
· Creative and flexible approach to problem-solving and program design.
