Position Overview
The Specialised Transport Support Worker is responsible for assisting NDIS participants in accessing educational facilities, employment, and community activities through safe and reliable transport services.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide door-to-door transport services for participants.
· Assist with mobility and accessibility needs (e.g., wheelchair access, securing mobility devices).
· Ensure participant safety and comfort during travel.
· Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.
· Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
· Communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, and service coordinators.
· Maintain accurate transport logs and reports.
Skills & Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Experience in disability support, transportation, or related fields.
· Knowledge of accessible vehicle operation and safety procedures.
· Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (if applicable).
Support Worker provides transport assistance to NDIS participants, ensuring they can access essential supports and community engagements.
